Kari "Princess" Leforeux
Hey...there's a rat on your shoulder...
One of the many daughters to a black market merchant. Kari is an omni-crafter and white mage. She has become a stay at home mother but often comes out of retirement to help people in times of need.
Kari is often seen at the Silver Phoenix aiding the Eorzean Blue Flames and keeping her friends and family treated and safe.

The Past
This is the darkness that many cant escape this is the past that haunts you to the grave
Kari was born on her estate. The twelfth and final child to a 40 something year old woman. The woman often was doing maid like chores with the hired help. She also would train her daughters how to do similar tasks since that is what their future held.
The family other than the father was barred from going to the outside world. They had guards to keep them safe but also keep them in line. The father even gave authority to hurt them but not damage the face nor figure.
Kari's family luckily had a small cave near the edge where her father put lots of his supplies and goods. Most of such which he apprehended from various means be it trade, stealing, or worse.
Materia is not a toy
As Kari grew older, she was allowed to explore more of the lands her family owned. The guards would keep an eye constantly and not let her leave the places but..she really loved exploring the cave with all the treasure.
When she was 12, Kari entered the cave and started hearing a noise. She climbed the rocks above various items her father left inside the cave.
Kari would slip as she fell backwards spiraling. She screamed and fell sharp downward through the center of the cave.
Guards would come inside to find a crying child with a sharp chunk of materia now deep inside her body.
She would awake in four days after nightmares and visions to find out her wounds were healed and word was sent to father.
The father promised her for marriage to the man's son who would not be getting his shiny new materia. This was his way of compensating for failing on the deal along with helping the father gain some land and resources in Ul'dah.
A Way Out
Kari at the age of 19, a few months before her birthday decided she did not wish to be home anymore. She this time had a plan and started sewing up a cloak out of a few bed sheets.
Two weeks later on her birthday, Kari would wait to be alone. She dawned the cloak she made with her skills trained by her mother and hand maidens. She then put on the mask she was given and grabbed a few transport crystals from her father's locked chambers. She would head out and actually wound up trying to bribe the guards. They attempted to apprehend her but she would rush off.
Kari took a deep breath as she thought to have lost them but bumped into an adventurer. The man scoffed at her as they both looked down seeing the teleportation crystals scattered.
The man grabbed the closest to his and Kari would grab the closest to her. She heard the guards screaming and coming as she snapped it and soon felt her coin purse emptying and her head spinning from her first time using such a trinket.
A Knight in the darkness
Kari arrived with a splash south of Gridania. She was drenched in mud and was clearly out of it and exhausted. A free knight named Nazahr came to investigate the screams while on a chase for a criminal. The man not much older than her, took the woman and helped her get across the terrain. It took a little while due to her weakness but they made it to Old Gridania along with a now growing feeling. Her kind heart has actually made Sol, Nazahr Leforeux's white whittret warm up to her along their trip.
Nazahr pledged himself to Kari as a protector as she did the same as a healer. Kari is still adjusting and is not good at lying but the knight is keeping his close friend in check and keeping threats at bay.
Friends of Friends
Kari has moved in with Nazahr and began to date him as of recently. She met a few of his friends who started to form a free company. During their first meeting, some kind of shadow being kidnapped Kari which lead to a rescue mission. Since then Kari has been recovering from a wound she got which was cursed for a bit but remedied by killing the creature who marked her. She has a new mark on her hand along with Naz, Claire and Ophelia making them part of an even bigger thing that has not been revealed yet.

The group grew into a rather small free company in no time.
Kari now was remaining at the company house for her protection due to Naz breaking her heart for unknown reasons. She has begun to grow close to various members, Ophelia and Claire, Wayman is grumpy old dad, and Luruna is like a little punk sister.
Naz would pop in time to time and often left Sol with Kari while he went off. It was strange it was like he did not want to break it off with her but he did not want her coming along with him.
She would spend a few months there sheltered and protected from danger. It slowly ate at her while she saw them head off on jobs and leave the healer behind due to her condition which often put her at risk in the field.
Slowly each day the house would feel empty to her.
Branching Out
Miss Gille has begun to travel around training with her white mage teacher that Naz helped her find back in her first days in Gridania. Kari has traveled alone for a bit searching for a side job along with arriving recently in Ishgard. As her master stated, she is to train and aid the knights up here.
Kari is still adapting to the cold but has recently run into Naz who seemed to be in her eyes putting up some kind of act. He told her he had to do what he did to break her from not protecting herself. She refused to call him by his first name hearing the words and would walk off to cool down.
Her feelings sadly could not be buried and she had to focus on training and not worrying about her ex.
Polar Issues
Kari began to notice fenrir activity near the outskirts of Ishgard. Her teacher and her made their way towards a cave as a bounty requested to find tracks of blood. The prints were those of a fenrir she was told.
Kari took a deep breath readying her staff as she moved towards the direction. She soon found the dead body of a rather large Fenrir. The girl covered her mouth gagging as she paused hearing whimpers. The small Fenrir she has seen before....he was limping and was behind her shivering. "What's wrong little guy."
Kari let her guard down placing her staff to hear a rather loud crunch of snow behind her. She glanced up to see the massive bear swat his claw at her. Kari grabbed the pup protecting it as she cried out. She would roll over as she felt the benediction on her. She glanced up as she placed the pup down grasping her staff tightly standing in pain. "Teach!" She watched as her teacher blasted glares over and over at the beast. "TAKE THE CUB AND GO KARI!"
Kari tensed up as she shook her head joining in mimicking her teacher. They both knelt exhausted in front of the now dead polar bear. The fenrir whimpered keeping close to Kari as she sighed, "Guess you are gonna need a mom..." The teacher rolled her eyes as she muttered, "What ya gonna raise that thing ride it and call it blue?" Kari smirked as she nodding, "Of course...that sounds amazing!"

Kari came across the Dark and Light Tavern which was not opened. She met a bounty hunter named Zaraki and Alexi. After meeting a few other workers, She sat down for an interview with Makota. Kari soon had her own room and was now a hired waitress. She checked in with the infirmary doctor Aluette who seemed to take a liking and was aiding her with her unique issue of the strange glowing stone stuck in her side.
While in the yard feeding Plue her Fenrir pup, strange man would come up. His name was Aldin and he was checking out the new tavern before its opening night.
Kari froze as the man had a photo of her. It wound up to be the one she was promised to as a child. After a long talk, Kari learned of his father making the deal and how he reluctantly did it. He did not agree with the arrangement and has since asked to protect her from the men her father sent after her.
Meanwhile Nazahr would come back finding her not far from the Wyld Roses. He began to show how he really felt to her but Kari was starting to grow feelings not for Aldin. She has since been panicking because her two crushes are now around the tavern often making it rather difficult for her to decide who to open up to.
The Family, The Job,
Getting Settled In
Kari has begun to settle in rather well at her new home. She soon began to fit right in with her boss Tuya. She filled Tuya in on her situation and has already begun her shifts as a waitress. She has met many members from the head boss Alexi, to the cook Gregor, Matron Cole, Domino, Lyra (Her new head of the Infirmary), Celene, Pearl, Denmore (A pain in the ass drunk who calls her princess.), Ricohard, Avira, Vitania, and Lily.
During this time, Rhala has run into Kari on numerous occasions in Ul'dah along with the man she treated. She found out his name is Senar and he seemed to have some kind of thing for her. It is starting to seem no matter where Kari goes, boys soon follow due to her always seeming to attract a guy or two when she is in any city.
On her most recent shift, a customer wound up sick. Kari was the only infirmary staff around, so she wound up treating the woman. She overexerted her aether again with the materia inside of her. This lead to Tuya, Pearl, and a customer helping Kari and removing the aether from the materia which was burning her from the inside again. Tuya had her placed in the infirmary speaking of having to get this process done as soon as she is stable to get the materia out of the poor girl.
Her friend Aulette and Makota seemed to leave to start their own thing, but Kari still has high hopes of seeing them.
Hiding a boy
and training alone
Kari was put up for a date auction recently at the Dark and Light Tavern to aid in a charity event. She was won by a man she aided earlier that week in the shroud who was injured in a tussle with some rather unfriendly wildlife. She would continue her usual bar shifts till she began to drink. When she came to, she would find in the hall an exhausted Naz.
Kari shook her head as she spoke to the sleeping boy, checked his temperature and wound up curled next to him dozing. Naz would come to as she snapped out of it and quickly guided him to her room without word to her co-workers or family watching over her.
Kari recently has gotten rather close to Vitania who she calls sister and Vi. She is very protective of her now and has decided to go off training. She wound up hurting herself more on accident by being stubborn. Kari has become terrified to even use her healing on herself due to how severe the materia poisoning is getting causing more burns and black outs.
Welcome to Ul'dah
and Materia Poisoning
......After a long drawn out battle along with chaos, The Tavern has become safe. It has been moved to a new location in the Goblet in Ul'dah not far from the Azure Flames Cafe. This has been making it easier for Kari to visit and see others like Rhaia, Catori, Tee'la, Lizzy and so on.
The Issue with this is Kari does not obey or care about her well being nor that her job is illegal. She straight up uses her materia often and has begun to show signs of the materia poisoning her system from her skin to now her left eye changing to a perminant Green color. Naz has been more on her case since and they have come into possession of a house in the Lavender Beds for themselves which is also a diner along with their place in the Dark and Light Tavern.
Kari has begun to show signs of not remembering where she is and is acting more absent minded every day. This also lead to chaos as the tavern had issues and actually wound up becoming a battlefield. It blew up in the chaos but the employees were able to contain the situation and move safely to Ul'dah to a newer bigger lot where they now work.
United
......Aluette removed the material from Kari and it has been a steady few weeks of recovery. Naz has landed another home in the mists and taken her there to recover. The tavern has been closed for a month now but is finally showing signs of opening back up under management of miss Cole and Leiard has became more of a major role helping in more than just supplies.
Throughout this, Kari has begun crafting again and has been careful not to get into trouble while Naz has been taking initiative in trying to help her mother escape from her father. The two have clearly become closer than before and have seem to kindled the flame of their past.
She has also been aiding her friends Zaraki and Rhaia with their move to a new home in Gridania designing things and crafting items for the house. Leiard seemed to aid in it as well while Kari was taching the Dakwhil's daughter Bella how to cook and sew.
Ishgardian Pride
......Kari and Naz spoke further and Nazahr took initiative after telling Kari to remain home. He went out tracking down Jolly Gerald. The associate to Mr. Gille had Kari's mother Asuna cutting deals in Ul'dah near the Quicksands like usual around this time of year.
The older Thavnarian woman seemed to have a plan of her own to escape but was confronted by the Ishgardian after a few moments of calmness. She listened to Nazahr and would tell him to meet her at the Goblet as she attempted to trick Gerald and her husband's men into thinking she fled towards Horizon.
The trick failed, about 15 men showed after a few minutes of Nazahr tracking Asuna down. He gave her an aether shard and told her to flee as he confronted the men who gathered to about twenty along with the Black Market King Gille.
The man sized up Naz as his men who lost did a number cutting the knight and hurting him good. Naz would black out as Immortal Flames made their way to the scene. They took Naz to treat him and soon Kari met her step brother Franky who was the one that was tracking Gerald due to his hatred to his father and the man who killed his mom. He was furious with how Kari acted but Asuna and her were allowed in the back along with their friends Aluette and Rhet.
Kari later got help moving Naz back home at the mists where she stayed with him treating his comatose state for a while till he came to. Naz would wake up starving as he saw his girl and her mother watching over him. The two love birds would be left alone as the mother went to deal with a few papers left out from Kari that she did for the tavern.
The Leforeux Family
......Kari and Naz finally in their mid 20s got hitched. The two were given aid from their friend Toya to have a better chance at getting Kari pregnant compared to their previous attempts. It turned out to be successful and they even had two strange visitors who had their pasts revealed throughout the month.
Kari and Naz found out these two strange teenagers were their children from another shard. Arya and Conrad were sent back with a letter to be protected. They were told to be sent here to protect their parents but the letter spells it out clear as day.
Now that the Leforeux family is finally out of their honeymoon phase, they are all in agreement to remove King Gille before he does any damage like he did in the other shard. He is a clear threat and will use the company, friends, and family to get to them....including going after Naz's and Kari's unborn children. They have the advantage from the knowledge they gained....the question is how long do they take to prepare.
A Vicious Kiss of death,
to playing it safe
......Naz and Kari began their family life, with their other shard's children staying with them. Naz began training Arya to protect herself, Toya began spending time with her adoptive grand daughter, and Conrad spent time with his family.
This was sadly brought to a quick stop as Celica, Kari's twin sister, finally came to visit them by orders of her father. She barely speaking lured Naz and kissed him in front of the family, she would stab him under his plate in the slit twice during the kiss. Soon a portal opened up and a strange man with a giant sword would stab Nazahr through the back and chest. Thought dead, Celica fleed pissed at her failed mission of just torturing and hurting Nazahr the worst way slowly and by using the family, she would contact her father letting him know the grizly fate.
The man let the two kids try to attack and stated, YOU DO IT AGAIN AND I WILL KILL YOU. He stepped into the portal and Kari used her own aether again risking her unborn child to heal Nazahr.
Naz now rests at their home recovering while Conrad watches over his dad and Arya does her mother's work at the Lantern while she rests and takes it easy.
Kari would hire True Blue Lizzy to aid the Lantern in it's time of need for a price of course.
Spring Cleaning
and New Roommate
Kari started to become a bit overwhelmed with her pregnancy and tending to her husband. Her kids were doing as much as they could but she clearly needed a hand.
She asked Toya who was watching over her at the tavern and was close with the family if she was okay moving in to aid them. The Au Ra accepted and Kari hired some men to help re-arrange and rebuild the house. They had two rooms now below them and a smaller bathroom. They also expanded the kitchen so it was more of a family house than a couple's love shack at the Mist.
Hiding No More
and retirement
......The fight against the Gilles took a turn for the worst. Celica was hunting Naz and Kari down. Nazahr was in a coma for months and Kari sold her house to the Flames and was relocated in hiding with the family. Before the final transfer of the family happened, Nazahr woke from the coma and clues on the chaos hit. Kari and Arya hid as her student Bella, Oliver, Nazahr and Toya went with the flames to confront the Gilles now attacking the Sultana apartments. They arrived seeing Lizzy, a blue mage and friend fighting with King. Celica escaped but the battle ended with them arresting King and capturing many of his men. Wolt one of his associates also escaped but was dealt with a few days later by some adventurers.
Kari and Naz were given an Ishgardian company and house in Ishgard. Kari now has Lizzy controlling her ships while Fiona Arjerm now going by Kit managing labs. It is a crafting company the thavnair runs and her family lives in the main house of the small buildings.

New Teachings, Old Ways
......News traveled fast of Kari's sister actually leaving Eorzea. No one knows where but Kari's family is now not restricted to Eorzea. She has been training Bella more and is becoming excited about preparing for a journey back to her home country.

Nazahr - Her first crush and now husband. Kari and Naz already are having a child now as of the medical aid she got on their honeymoon from their friend, and they ran into two teens who are their children from another shard.
Arya Leforeux - Kari and Naz's daughter from another shard. She came to help protect her parents along with the family friends from her grandfather King.
Conrad Leforeux - Kari and Naz's son and younger brother to Arya from another shard. Conrad is very close to his mother and often is talking about tech and keeping distant from the fights.
Rhetori Cole - Kari's former boss at the Tavern, she has become like a mother to Kari and always is watching over the girl and taking care of her.
Toya - An au ra who had a similar family like Kari. She is an older woman who often is hanging with others in lantern or working with Kari to improve not just the workers but also the lives of those she is around. Toya has recently moved in with Nazahr and Kari to aid in helping the family medically and watching over them.
Alice - The cafe manager at the Azure Flames who often was checking on Kari. She became a friend who is around often and keeping track of the girl.
Typriss - A friend of Alice's and to Kari. She was met through Lizzy.
Bella Dakwhil - Kari has been starting to teach the girl and take her under her wing as a cook and seamstress.
Lizzy Mercer - A blue mage, a drunk, and a greedy woman who surprisingly has a good heart. She comes and goes but is someone who will sacrifice herself for those she considers friends.
The Fangs of Fenrir - A mercenary group that met Kari on her travels from a mision. They aided her on several occasions now and keep an eye on her. One realized who she was from the family crest and gave her a shell to keep in contact.
Shivania Fenrir - Leader of the Fangs of Fenrir, she took a liking to Kari and has been protective of the girl. She knew of her father and refuses to let him get his hands on her.
Talia Valsing - One of the Fangs members always around Kari and with her boss Shivania. This redhead is a bit of a spitfire once she warms up.
Franziska Koenig - A more wise member in the fangs. She is the third of the three amigos around Kari during most of her time with Shivania. Franziska has some words but is very few and important when spoken.
Claire Leyden - One of Nazahr's friends. She seems to have a protective motherly side and even vouched to bring Kari on the mission before.
Ophelia Moonsinger - Silent but definitely has a good heart. Not sure on why she protects but anyone risking their life to protect must be good.
Luruna Vulerys - A young teen and really kind and punkish kid. She is a very strong fighter who is often wielding an axe.
Wayman Blackheart - A father / Grandfather type figure. Unlike her real father, he shows emotions and seems to care. She has grown rather fond of the old man.
Aldin - Kari's ex fiance who she was promised to. He seemed to at first be interested but has since vanished with his rivalry for her love being won over from her first crush.
Asuna Gille
Kari's mother and seeking to escape her father. Naz has succeeded in helping her escape Gerald and she resides with kari and Naz at the Mists currently.
Frank Gille
Kari's Miqo'te Step Brother and a 2nd Lieutenant in the Immortal Flames. He is in his late 30s and is after the a man named Jolly Gerald for killing his mother. He originally was raised in Ul'dah by her but she was known for doing services at the quicksand to men so she could keep her children fed.
Sarah Gille
Frank's little sister and Kari's Miqo'te step sister. She works at the Lantern as a waitress now since she was fired from the Quicksands.
Threats
King Gille - A former black market king who was arrested. His daughter Celica has since taken over.
Celica Gille - Kari's Twin and heir to her father's empire. Celica has become a threat to many but always seems to weasel away with something to gain from the conflicts
Jolly Gerald - A pirate and tracker leading a group of men to gather intel on Kari and her companions by order of the so called Merchant Queen.
Dante Baggers - A slave trader who was promised various trades which fell through.
Shadow Hands - Some reason these things keep showing up. Kari on numerous occasions now (Due to other's story and rp) has been grabbed by them and seemed to be almost trying to get pulled.
